Image of conservatory restaurant

Our comfortable restaurant is a recent addition to the original pub and has been designed to make you feel totally relaxed. Sumptuously furnished with thick carpets and heavy, polished wood furniture, the conservatory style oak dining room is the perfect place for a celebration or an intimate lunch or supper. With a maximum seating capacity of just 30 you can be sure of efficient and attentive service.

In summertime the light and airy restaurant benefits from the natural warmth of the sun, while at cooler times the under-floor heating ensures a nice, cosy feel. The view is of pretty flowers, plants, hedges & shrubs.

To view sample menus simply click below.  You may also find fresh fish and local game featured on the boards in the bar.  We make our own pies and serve them in old fashioned enamel pie dishes full to the brim with filling.  The half pound pure beef burgers are stacked high.  Sirloin steaks are carved from the strip as you order and so your steak is individual to you, not pre-cut and vacuum packed, just juicy, thick and full of flavour.

Our Sunday roast lunch represents excellent value and includes plentiful quantities of locally grown vegetables to complement the tender, succulent meats.  Sunday roast is also available on our take away menu along with the ever popular fish and chips and chicken curry.
